When I wrote my first AI book, I didn’t imagine it would become part of a business generating steady global revenue.
But over time, it turned into something bigger, a content ecosystem powered by AI and automation.
This isn’t about being an author.
It’s about building a system where your ideas work even when you’re not online.
Here’s exactly how I turned AI writing into a predictable side hustle.
1️⃣ Start With a Clear Theme — Not a Random Idea
The first trap most creators fall into: writing what feels interesting.
Instead, write what solves a problem.
I started with a single focus — “How can people use ChatGPT to save time?”
That led to the ChatGPT Prompts book series, which became an entire library across 20+ niches.
💡 Prompt Example:
You are a content strategist. Identify 10 high-demand topics where people struggle daily, but AI can provide immediate solutions.
Rule: Don’t chase topics. Chase problems with emotional weight.
2️⃣ Use AI to Build Faster Than You Think
Once I found the problem, I used AI to:
- Outline the structure
- Draft examples
- Generate titles, blurbs, and keywords
- Even write promotional copy
AI wasn’t replacing me, it was accelerating my execution speed.
This is how I created 40+ books in one year — without compromising quality.
3️⃣ Focus on Multiplying Output, Not Effort
After publishing a few books, I automated everything:
- Use AI templates for formatting and cover design
- Connect Zapier + Notion to track royalties
- Repurpose book insights into Dev.to posts, YouTube lectures, and ReThynk AI Magazine articles
Each book now becomes a product, a blog, a video, and a course — all from one core piece of content.
4️⃣ Stack Small Revenue Streams
Instead of chasing one big launch, I built multiple streams that flow consistently:
Once you have 5–10 digital assets feeding each other, $10K/month becomes a system, not luck.
5️⃣ Promote Through Value, Not Ads
Every book or course I launch is linked in context, inside an article, tutorial, or Dev.to post.
I don’t sell; I teach, and the product becomes the next step.
“Inbound marketing is just education with direction.”
Final Thought
You don’t need millions of followers.
You need a repeatable system of creation + distribution + automation.
With AI, you already have the tools.
All you need is consistency and clarity.
Start small: one book, one topic, one product.
Then build systems around it until your side hustle becomes a self-running engine.
