My Brief Intro and New Journey

So today I just started a new journey of joining FANG one day. I will be doing DSA along with some kind of Development, and also be studying hard to get a good GPA this Semester. Ohh.. You must be thinking I've plenty of time, but to be honest, my daily routine is harder than an average student, I guess the whole world. Let me first introduce myself. I am Muhammad Husnain, doing a Bachelor of Computer Science at UET Lahore. I live in Lahore, but my university is 30 km away from my House, phew...I am in 3rd semester currently with a 3.65 CGPA, and I aim to bring it to 3.8 or more. Till now, I have learnt Full Stack Web Development with MERN with NextJS. In my recent summer, I worked on AI, to be specific, I started with Web Scraping using Beautiful Soup, Selenium, and Scrapy. Then I moved to basic algorithms of ML, i.e, Linear Regression, logistic regression, K-Means Clustering, Trees, Forests, Q-Learning, etc Then I moved to DL - RNNs, CNNs, and stuff, then moved to LLMs, learned RAG, tokens, embeddings, Vector Stores, vectorDBs, and then moved to local LLMs running on OLLAMA CLI such as Llama 3, etc. But then I stopped as my university started two weeks ago. I was trying to adjust my routine as well as my health.
I belong to a middle-class family, so my dreams are very big, but first, I also needed to make my financial issues stable. I am also having a 100% scholarship based on my performance; therefore, I also have to maintain a CGPA. I am currently working on a lot of things ahhh...
But then I somehow stumbled upon the video of Shafiqa Iqbal ( a Googler working in the Warsaw Office, Poland ), where she talked about the legacy of Google and all the perks of being a Googler. On that day, I decided to start my journey towards FANG. For that, I needed to learn DSA ( Data Structures and Algorithms ). At my university, I also have a course running named DSA, but it only barely touches the core of DSA. So now I have made my Mind to learn DSA on self-paced on Udemy, a course known AS DSA by Abdul Bari.
So, today this week I will be learning all the Core concepts and revising all the core concepts of C and C++. So I guess this is pretty much it. See you guys in the next Blog. GoodBye
